Chris Rosenau is such a person. In addition, he provided a calm presence no matter how many changes were thrown at him. I value him as a colleague and collaborator.
Rosenau & Sanborn. SCROLL. The seeds for Bluebird were sown starting in 2015 when Nick Sanborn and I were both performing at the inaugural Eaux Claires festival. We were performing in different projects, but, encouraged by the promoters and in the collaborative spirit of the festival, we decided to try an improv duo set together.

27 de feb. de 2024 · Guitarist-composer Chris Rosenau released a new record this month, dedicated to his mother. The six tracks, named after different dates, were recorded live at a performance in December. Acoustic guitar gently floats along each melody with tenderness and reverence, evoking fond imagery of home and family.

In Polish it’s usually called ‘sypanie piaskiem’ (what translates simply to ‘pouring of sand’). It used to be common to many regions located in the modern-day central Poland.
