Petra Haden Sings: The Who Sell Out is an album by Petra Haden, an entirely a cappella interpretation of the album The Who Sell Out by English rock band The Who.Haden supplies all of the vocals. It was released in 2005 on Bar None Records.The recording was inspired by former Minutemen bassist Mike Watt, who gave Haden the 8-track recorder with the original Who album on it.

She is or has been a member of several bands, including that dog. , Tito & Tarantula , The Rentals and The Decemberists ; has contributed to recordings by Beck , Mike Watt , Luscious Jackson , Jimmy Eat World , Foo Fighters , Green Day , Weezer , Victoria Williams and Yuka Honda .

She joined up with everyone’s favorite swashbuckling indie kids, The Decemberists. And most notably, she released Petra Haden Sings: The Who Sell Out , a completely a-cappella version of the British invaders’ famed 1967 opus.
