Regardless of which amp you choose though, if you want to sound like Freddie King, the key is to EQ your amp in a similar way. Set the treble to 10, and drop the mids and bass to 0. Do this, and push your volume to get the tubes firing, and it will go a long way in helping you recreate those fiery King tones.
