12 de nov. de 2006 · One of the few unapologetic technical guitar wizards to come out of the '90's rock scene, Gary Hoey at first glance seemed to have more in common with Yngwie Malmsteen than Chet Atkins. His three Christmas albums, however--the best of which are distilled here--gave Hoey a chance to demonstrate his chops.
Hoey has toured and traded licks with the likes of Jeff Beck, Brian May of Queen, Ted Nugent, Joe Satriani, The Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, Styx, Steve Vai, Peter Frampton, and Dick Dale.
