The album is now considered something of a lost classic in Baxter's work and is, at long last, getting the reissue treatment for RSD 2022. Baxter had been a sought-after film composer in the intervening years between his iconic 1951 LP 'Ritual of the Savage' and 'Que Mango!', and the skills he honed during that time helped make for a compelling comeback.
