Like the best albums from this band, Checkered Past is invested in sleaze and rock’n’roll, and sees the aforementioned pair trading off one another’s artistic peccadillos.
Upon its release, L.A. Guns debuted at number 138 on the US Billboard 200. It spent a total of 33 weeks on the chart, peaking at number 50 in April.
