Harry Enfield's on-screen persona Norbert Smith presents this mockumentary telling his life story. When Melvyn Bragg arrives at Norbert's home during the week of his 80th birthday, the pair begin to reminisce about Norbert's colourful acting career that has seen him in roles as diverse as Hamlet to the face of a washing powder.

A very funny spoof of the life of that great ham actor, Sir Norbert Smith, who has plumbed the depths in all genres of cinema. This made me laugh from beginning to end and is probably the best thing Harry Enfield has been involved with in his career.
