Sounds slightly muddy even though Todd himself produced the CD version. However, the feat of reproducing this album live (almost) in sequence, with it's genre, stylistic and mood shifts is pretty to breath taking and ultimately uplifting, especially towards the International Feel & Just One Victory finale. Haven't watched DVD yet, probably coz I saw this performed live at Hammersmith in 2010 ...

Today, it reads like an instruction manual to anyone who wants to mess around with synthesisers, arrangements, thematic storytelling, or psychedelic experiences.

Vanaf het volgende album, A Wizard, a True Star uit 1973, raakte Rundgren beïnvloed door progressieve rock en begon hij te experimenteren met drugs. Deze invloeden werden uitgediept met de band Utopia, die hij in 1974 oprichtte. In verschillende bezettingen zou deze band tot 1986 blijven bestaan.
