28 de may. de 2024 · Professor Philip Torr (Balliol, 1990) is among 25 leading AI scientists calling for stronger action on AI risks in a recent Science paper entitled ‘Managing extreme AI risks amid rapid progress.’ A co-author on the paper, Professor Torr says: ‘The world agreed during the last AI summit that we needed action, but now it is time to go from vague proposals to concrete commitments.

The Brackenbury Scholarship at Balliol is funded to this day from her bequest and some of the buildings are named after the family.
