16 de may. de 2024 · The music was written by Harold Arlen with lyrics by Yip Harburg, both sons of Jewish refugees who fled violence in Europe — a demographic very much reviled by polite Anglo-Saxon society at the time. No wonder their “happy little bluebirds” needed to fly so far “beyond the rainbow.”. A digression, I know, but a meaningful one.
