“Re-Animator” star Jeffrey Combs is appearing at a film festival on June 21-22 in Phoenixville, PA. In addition to “Re-Animator,” they are also screening Lovecraft adaptations/offshoots “From Beyond,” “Bride of Re-Animator” and “Castle Freak” (inspired by Lovecraft’s “The Outsider”), and several other non-Lovecraftian works.
Hace 4 días · Combs' makeup to play Tiron extended over his nose, and wasn't equipped with breathing holes. As an actor, this was a challenge, as Combs could no longer inhale without ruining the appliance. It seems that exhaling wasn't as big a problem. The makeup, incidentally, was applied by veteran DS9 makeup artist Dean Gates.
Jeffrey Combs (star of “Re-Animator and “The Frighteners”) just posted on Facebook that he will be appearing at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA on June 21-22 as part of a retrospective of his movies. Fun fact, this is the same theater where “The Blob” was filmed in the 1950s!
