Natasha’s Law applies to the UK, where the Food Standards Agency (FSA) recognises 14 allergens. This differs from the US, where only 9 allergens are recognised, while in Australia, 23 potential allergens are recognised.

From 1 October 2021 the requirements for labelling prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) food changed across the UK.. Also known as Natasha's Law, this applies to any food business that produces PPDS food, including mobile sellers, food stalls, burger vans, stalls at farmers’ markets and street food vendors.
