John Carter MacLean (born November 20, 1964) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the assistant coach for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He spent the majority of his playing career as a member of the New Jersey Devils , and also spent time with the San Jose Sharks , New York Rangers and Dallas Stars .
John Maclean would go on to be made honorary president of the Russian and Hungarian Soviets, and be celebrated by comrades including Countess Markievicz, Antonio Gramsci and Sylvia Pankhurst. [iii] Maclean was, during the First World War, one of Europe’s most famous Marxists, Britain’s foremost revolutionary, and the representative of the Bolshevik government in Scotland.

John Alexander Maclean, OAM (born 27 May 1966) is an Australian triathlete, rower, and motivational speaker. A promising rugby league player in his youth, he became a paraplegic after being knocked from his bicycle by a truck in 1988.
