Riddlesdown Collegiate operates a waiting list whenever there are more applicants than places. The list will operate from the day after offers are made and will remain operational for the duration of Year 7. A child’s position on the waiting list will be determined solely in accordance with the admissions criteria.

Riddlesdown supports the largest single expanse of old calcareous scrub in London. The Trust’s reserve within it consists of a pocket of chalk grassland surrounded by a mosaic of chalk scrub of hawthorn, dogwood, hazel and whitebeam, with a developing woodland of yew, sycamore and ash. It is a valuable habitat for birds and invertebrates.
The results of the recent UK Intermediate Maths Challenge are back and Riddlesdown students performed remarkably well, with lead teacher Mr Manuwa describing the results as “excellent!”.
