Maybe the calmest album of Van Morrison, consisting of eleven, partly almost ambient songs, Inarticulate Spech Of Your Heart is suitable to draw your attention without any intrusiveness. Therefore - and nevertheless of being partly one the verge of mawkishness - the fourteenth is one of the better Van Morrison albums, imo.

  6. 2 de may. de 2008 · He never lets me down. My favorite musical artists are Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell. And of these four, the greatest is Van Morrison. He does not have the wit of Cohen who is just a hair away but he makes up for in in heart. All the artists mentioned have lots of heart, lots of vitality, relevance, and sincerity.

  7. 11 de feb. de 2007 · Of all Van Morrison's albums this is by far my favourite and I have listened to it so many times since its release in 1983 without ever tiring of it. Indeed it's a wonder I haven't worn it out. What comes across is the feeling that the great man was very much at peace during this recording and there is a warmth that permeates the album throughout.
