I’m pretty sure I’ll like the basing recipe I’m using for my Deathskulls Orks, which comes straight from White Dwarf #161 (also the source of the recipe I use for my Blood Angels ), but a bit less certain about the tufts. So I figured I’d do up a test base and see how it looks.
22 de ene. de 2024 · For my bases I wanted a dry, parched, bleached look that complemented the bone on my Regal Skulls. The effect is extremely easy to do and I think it looks great. To start I take the base and superglue on pieces of oyster shell. Oyster shell is a fantastic material because it has a ton of texture, scales well to 40K models, and is cheap.

20 de feb. de 2017 · I should have split it up over the course of the weekend, but well I didn't so here goes. In the previous post about my badlands terrain build I glued polystyrene blocks to MDF, took fork and knife to them and covered the result in instant filler and PVA. The next step is sanding the base and the flat parts of the mesa rocks.
