If I stay is a great book, I did see the movie before I read the book then finally de idea to buy the books this year. I ended up rewatching the movie If I stay and I must say that this is one time where the movie is just about as good as the book. As for where she went at first it left little to be desired as it did not start out how I'd hoped.
