Biography. Jeanne-Baptiste d'Albert de Luynes, Countess of Verrua, was a French noblewoman and the mistress of Victor Amadeus II, Duke of Savoy. Jeanne-Baptiste d'Albert de Luynes was born in 1670 in Paris, France. She married Joseph Ignace Scaglia, Count of Verrua, in 1683. She became the mistress of Victor Amedeo II, the Duke of Savoy, in 1689.
