The first recorded example of Alan Licht's solo guitar work was a contribution to Breathe on the Living, a 1990 triple LP compilation album on Locust.Entitled "Betty Page", it was a piece the guitarist developed and refined in performance and subsequently re-recorded as side two of his 1994 debut solo album, Sink the Aging Process (Siltbreeze).
