This post-industrial band was formed in 2009 by Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, together with Reznor’s wife, Mariqueen Maandig, and Rob Sheridan. Their debut was with a self-titled EP, released a year after their inception and made available as a free download. This helped to quickly spread their music.

Mariqueen Maandig and her husband, Trent Reznor, are parents to five children. They had their first child, Lazarus Echo, exactly a year after their wedding, precisely on the 10th of October, 2010. The following year in December, Balthazar Venn was born. The couple waited for four years before having their next child in November 2015.
