Serena-Maneesh 2: Abyss in B Minor (stylized as either S-M 2, #2, or No. 2) is the second studio album by Serena Maneesh. The album was recorded over a period of two years, and was partly recorded in a cave outside of Oslo, Norway, according to frontman Emil Nikolaisen:
When Serena Maneesh emerged with their first EP, 2002's Fixations, they did attract quite a lot of attention, but were all-too-quickly branded as retro-loving neo-shoegazers by their native press, and invariably compared with the Velvet Underground and My Bloody Valentine.

Serena Maneesh (or Serena-Maneesh) is the debut album by Serena Maneesh.The album was partly recorded in Steve Albini's respected Electrical Audio Recordings studio in Chicago as well as in various facilities in New York City and Oslo.Contributors to the album include Sufjan Stevens, Martin Bisi (who worked with Sonic Youth and Iggy Pop) and co-producer Daniel Smith of Danielson Famile.
