But what separates Bell Orchestre from all the others, is their rather unconventional approach to music. The band was formed by two Arcade Fire members, Richard Reed Parry and Sarah Neufeld in 1999. However, they were forced to put Bell Orchestre on hold as The Arcade Fire became increasingly popular, thus leaving no time for their other project.

14 de mar. de 2021 · Bell Orchestre are a six-piece operating out of Montreal. One-third of the band – namely Sarah Neufeld and Richard Reed Parry – also happen to be members of Arcade Fire. Interesting fact: Bell Orchestre recorded their debut album in 2003 at the same time, and in the same studio, as Arcade Fire recorded their debut, Funeral.
