Belgium’s Evil Superstars, who comprise Mauro Pawlowski (vocals, guitar), Dave Schroyen (drums), Marc Requile (keyboards), Bert Vandebroek (bass) and Tim Vanhamel (guitar), became one of a number of mainland European groups alongside Whale, Bettie Serveert and the Cardigans to procure UK and US audiences in the mid-90s.
Evil Superstars se forme dans le courant de l'année 1992 à Heusden-Zolder en Belgique . Parmi ses membres on retrouve Mauro Pawlowski (voix, guitare), Bart Vandeput (batterie), Marc Requilé (samples, claviers) et Bart Vandebroeck (basse). Très vite, ils obtiendront une réputation d'excellent groupe de scène.
Evil Superstars was an indie rock band led by Mauro Pawlowski, formed in 1992 in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium.. In March 1994 the band finished first in Humo's Rock Rally contest. Soon after, Tim Vanhamel (Millionaire, Eagles Of Death Metal) aged fifteen, joined the band. In 1996 they recorded their first album Love Is Okay, soon followed by a second EP Remix Apocalyps.
