It is allegedly based on the life of a real man named Patch Adams, who I have seen on television, where he looks like Salvador Dali's seedy kid brother.
Patch Adams ist auch Sozialaktivist, „Bürger-Diplomat“, Profi-Clown, Darsteller und Autor.
