The 39-year old rider from Taree, Australia has this year taken his third World Superbike title, riding the Ducati 1098 F08, having first won the title in 2001 and then again in 2006, when he returned to the category after three years in MotoGP.

Troy Bayliss. In 1992, at the age of 23, with the help of his and Kim’s savings, he purchased his first racing bike, and was finally able to return to the world of motorsports. He entered the Australian 250GP championship with a Kawasaki KR-1, and moved on to the 600 class the following year when he married Kim, the love of his life.
