George Segal plays The Dirtwater fox, a criminal who betrays his gang by taking the money they stole from a bank. He hooks up with Bluebird for a good time, but all she is interested in is his money.
The story concerns layabout Charlie ‘Dirtwater Fox’ Malloy (George Segal) who assists bandits by taking away a handy $40,000, then runs off with all the cash. However, he doesn't count on Duchess (Goldie Hawn), a parody dancer and prostitute who manages to fake him out of the money.
