Simon Phillip Hugh Callow CBE (born 15 June 1949) is an English actor and author. Callow was born in Streatham, London, to Yvonne Mary Guise and Neil Francis Callow. He attended the London Oratory School. Callow is one of the most prominent gay actors in Britain.
