Terry Allen is an independent artist working since 1966 in a wide variety of media including musical and theatrical performances, sculpture, painting, drawing and video, and installations which incorporate any and all of these media.
Terry produced and programmed, while Jo Harvey served as the host, writer, storyteller, and on-air personality; she was the first female country music DJ. The program was documented, but only erratically; these five themed shows and fragments have been edited together from all known surviving tapes, which reside in The Allen Collection of the Texas Tech University archives.

Jo Harvey Allen is an actress, playwright, poet, and pioneer of women in radio. Her critically acclaimed plays have toured throughout the United States and Europe. She has written and starred in several off-Broadway productions. She is also the author of Cheek to Cheek (1983), a collection of poems, and Homerun (2012).
Terry Allen (born May 7, 1943) is an American singer-songwriter and visual artist from Lubbock, Texas. Allen's musical career spans several albums in the Texas country and outlaw country genres, and his visual art includes painting, conceptual art , performance, and sculpture, with a number of notable bronze sculptures installed publicly in various cities throughout the United States.
