Peter Donat (born Pierre Collingwood Donat; January 20, 1928 – September 10, 2018) was a Canadian-American actor. He was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia. From 1965 to 1972, he was married to Michael Learned. Donat was known for his roles in The Godfather: Part II, The X-Files, and in The China Syndrome.
