Harold Frank Bennett (17 November 1898 - 11 September 1981) was an English actor, active in stage, television and film best remembered for having played 'Young Mr. Grace' in the 1970s British sitcom Are You Being Served? (1972-1985).

Harold Bennett was born in Hastings, the son of a butcher - William Bennett and his wife Annie. His childhood was spent at 15 Wellington Place with three siblings[1]. Upon leaving school at the age of 12, taking an apprenticeship at a jeweller's[2]. Following this, he toured America with a circus, returning to England to teach English at the Working Men's College, London[3].

Harold Frank Bennett, (17 November 1898 – 11 September 1981), was a British actor best known for playing Young Mr. Grace in Are You Being Served?.. After World War I, he started acting and worked as a producer at the Tower Theatre in London.He then stopped acting to work as a draughtsman for an electric company, until he retired and returned to acting.
