Tom Bailey, formerly of Thompson Twins, returns to the pop music genre for the first time in 22 years with his first solo LP ever, "Science Fiction." And while it's a "return" of sorts, his songwriting and production skills have matured far beyond those in evidence during the synth-pop halcyon days of the 1980s.

29 de may. de 2018 · Tom Bailey mastermind and co-founder of the Thompson Twins, will be unleashing his very first solo album on July 13th, entitled "Science Fiction". The first single from the 10 track album, "Come So Far" is a musically extravagant masterpiece with a chronicle. Eileen Shapiro interviews him for Louder Than War!
In 2016, Bailey released a new solo single titled "Come So Far", which included a music video. On 25 April 2017, the official Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey website announced that Bailey was recording his debut solo studio album and that he hoped to release the album in early 2018. The album, titled Science Fiction, was released in July 2018.
