J Church (band) J Church was an American punk rock band from San Francisco, California, formed by the guitarist and vocalist Lance Hahn and bassist Gardner Maxam in 1992, after the demise of their former band Cringer. [1] The group continued through numerous line-up changes and released a number of vinyl records and CDs before Hahn's death in 2007.

Lance Hahn was the lead singer and guitarist for US punk bands J Church and Cringer.He also released a solo acoustic record under the name Cilantro (2), was Beck's touring guitarist in 1994-95 and was in the final line-up of Bay Area pop-punk band Monsula in the early 1990s. He also ran Honey Bear Records (which he named after Winnie The Pooh) since 1994.
