  1. 26 de may. de 2017 · "Black Laden Crown" is solid and consistent. It has a very gloomy, heavy vibe to it. In my opinion about the same quality as "Deth Red Sabaoth", but it is by no means identical to the 2010 Danzig record. The songs are well rounded and fit together.

  5. 26 de may. de 2017 · Black Laden Crown is at its best when the band is moving at a methodical pace and letting Glenn Danzig’s presence shine. It’s perhaps no better illustrated than with the album’s second single (and first to receive a video) “Last Ride.” The song evokes a drifter, or maybe even an old cowboy, something very Eastwood-like, with its story and the mood is very Danzig.

  7. "Black Laden Crown" is the first Danzig album featuring new original material since "Deth Red Sabaoth" from 2010. The two albums are however bridged by the covers album "Skeletons" from 2015. The material on the 9 track, 43:11 minutes long album were recorded over the course of 3 years, with the initial recording sessions starting in February 2014.
