La Universidad Colgate es una universidad privada que se ubica en Hamilton, en el estado de Nueva York. Fue fundada en 1819 como seminario bautista, pero desde 1928 no tiene ninguna afiliación religiosa. Su nombre recuerda a William Colgate, benefactor de la universidad.
