13 de jul. de 2006 · A posting on the group's weblog remembers Jockey: "With deep sadness we must inform you that our dear brother, Jockey Shabalala, passed away on February 11th at his home in South Africa. His family was with him at his time of passing. Jockey, brother to group founder and leader Joseph Shabalala, joined Ladysmith Black Mambazo in the 1960's.
Sibongiseni Lucas Shabalala (born 20 May 1972), is a member of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, a South African choral group founded in 1960 (formerly led) by his father Joseph. Sibongiseni was born in Ladysmith (eMnambithi district) to Joseph and his late wife Nellie , just shortly after the release of the group's first album Amabutho .
