13 de jun. de 2022 · Reptilicus is a 1961 Danish-American giant monster film about a prehistoric reptile. The film was produced by American International Pictures and Saga Studio and separate versions were released in Denmark and in the United States.

Reptilicus was the brainchild of Sidney Pink, who had provided American International Pictures with the successful The Angry Red Planet in 1959. In that same year, while Pink was in Paris trying to secure European distribution deals for the film, he met Danish film producer Henrik Sandberg, who invited him to Denmark.

Reptilicus (1961) is a movie from Denmark I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline follows a group of miners who find a preserved tail under ground and bring in some scientists to research it. As the scientists run their experience the tail keeps growing until an indestructible creature emerges that terrorizes civilization.
