He is best known as a member of the Bee Gees (1958-2003 & 2009-2012), co-founded with his twin brother Maurice Gibb (1949-2003) and older brother Barry Gibb.Their younger brother, Andy Gibb (1958-1988) was also, in his time, a popular solo singer.
Robin Gibb. Composer: Saturday Night Fever. Robin Gibb was born in 1949 on the Isle of Man, about half an hour before his twin brother Maurice. His parents, Barbara and Hugh, were both musical. Barbara sang and Hugh was a drummer and bandleader. Robin had four siblings - an older sister and brother, Lesley and Barry, twin Maurice and younger brother Andy.
