Biography. Thomson is best known as one of the guitarists for the nu-metal band, Slipknot. His early music career started in the band Body Pit, which included future Slipknot members. Mick was recruited by Slipknot from a recommendation from ex-Slipknot drummer, Joey Jordison, and replaced Craig Jones who would then shift to samples/media.
