  2. Online Lessons. During the COVID-19 pandemic Urmston Grammar has adopted the use of Microsoft Teams for online learning. Any student joining lessons during a period of lockdown, or due to self-isolation, should use this platform to participate in lessons. Please see the user guide at the bottom of this page for additional information.

  3. Our curriculum encompasses all the learning and teaching experiences that are planned for our students during their time at Urmston Grammar. These experiences support the principle aim of our school to develop the full potential of our students so that they are able to take their place in society as mature, discerning and caring adults.

  4. The majority of students at Urmston Grammar Sixth Form study 3 A levels, though a small number opt to study 4. We operate a 2 week timetable in the sixth form. The timetable for a typical Year 12 student will consists of the following each week: 5 x 1h lessons for Subject A. 5 x 1h lessons for Subject B. 5 x 1h lessons for Subject C

  7. The general entry requirements for Urmston Grammar Sixth Form are GCSE Grades 77666 with at least Grade 5s in English and Maths.
