Throughout his career, Sun has remained prolific in the studio: 2008 saw the release of two albums (Harlequin Goodnight and So Nice) and the charity compilation Songs for Laura, inspired by his mother's battle with cancer. In 2010 he ventured into children's music with Just for Fun, followed two years later by the breezy Americana of Just Begun.

21 de may. de 2008 · I feel there's a bit more meat on the bones with Forest Sun though; there are echoes of Paul Simon and 60s American folk and to be honest I can't quite put my finger on why this appeals to me rather more than , say, Jack Johnson's approach. Maybe it feels more thought through - lyrically and musically - and altogether more serious of intent.
As well as producing his own records, (Not Afraid, Plenty, For the Story, Walk through Walls, So Nice, Harlequin Goodnight and the 2010 release of the children's record, Just for Fun) Forest Sun has produced Minneapolis song-writer Alex Goldfarb, the benefit CDs Songs for Laura Vol 1 and 2 and hosted the monthly Songbird Series at the Bazaar Cafe and Songbird Radio on KWMR.
