Con la “liberación” del personaje al que da vida una inmensa Jena Malone —entre otras cosas, protagoniza la secuencia más atrevida del film, aquella en la que tiene sexo con un cadáver—, Refn da paso a un tono claramente fantástico que creo beneficia enormemente el film.
Filmem Neon Demon mi to pan režisér jenom potvrdil a jeho tvorbě se už raději obloukem vyhnu. Chápu, že mnohé lidi tento vizuální a hudební koncert o zákulisí modelingu pohltí. U mě se to bohužel nestalo. První polovina filmu byla zajímavá, i když mě pomaličku začínala nudit.
