Lyrically, The Mysterious Production of Eggs stands as one of the best within 2000's Chamber Pop, alongside a nice mellow soundscape with works well with Andrew Bird's vocal which although not necessary the most standout he knows how to uses it effectively to get heavy emtional weight throughout the record to create one of his best works.
