First released in 1966, Midnight Man has a slightly more rhythm 'n' blues focus than Davy Graham's other Decca albums, as he plays homage to some of his musical heroes. Beautiful playing as always, and a repertoire drawn from the songs of Lalo Schifrin, Herbie Hancock, Lonnie Johnson, Oscar Brown Jnr, Blind Willie Johnson and Lennon/McCartney.

24 de feb. de 2021 · Davy Graham (born David Michael Gordon Graham, sometimes called Davey, on 26 November 1940 in Hinckley, Leicestershire; died 15 December 2008) was a widely-influential British acoustic guitarist most famous for his instrumental Anji (also spelt Angi or Angie), mastery of which, for a period in the 1960s, was the prerequisite of joining many British folk clubs.
