And I don't mean interesting in a backhanded complimentary way, it really is neat to hear how Dylan takes these songs. I also think his performances are very enjoyable. They're raw, but still the work of true professionals. It's like listening to a jam session of Dylan and his band. In many ways, it reminds me of McCartney's early solo/Wings stuff.
