Those are definitely tools that I embrace and harness. I know that I’m exploring something that is very difficult and triggering.

Artist Zoe Buckman is known for how she addresses feminism, the maternal experience, and the role and strength of women in her practice. Buckman’s works are strong, yet fragile—arresting (like Champ ), beautiful, and elegant. In “Every Curve” and “Present Life” she’s incorporated text through embroidery or neon.
