Objects like carpets designed by Stoddard’s, the original play set design, and a painting titled “Paisley Sunset” by Byrne will soon be displayed at the town’s museum, which is undergoing a massive £45 million refurbishment.

In 1948, three men – Tom Craston, Alan Mackill and Major Gray – had a dream to build a theatre in their local district. An Inaugural Meeting was called on 11th November 1948.
