  3. 17 de feb. de 2011 · Ronnie Montrose, Speed of Sound' was for me, the last great Montrose album. No vocals, just blazing guitars. 'Montrose" debut was to good to be beat but a close 2nd is 'Warner Brothers Presents'. Jump on it kind of passed by me but this album, 'Speed of Sound' was dead on, no filler/all killer. A must have for any rocker.

  7. Recently remastered by Ronnie Montrose, the guitarist's 1988 instrumental album "The Speed Of Sound" is one of his fan favorites, and one of his personal instrumental favorites as well. Montrose remembers, "I did "The Speed Of Sound" with the well-wishes of Bill Hein and with his encouragement which was great because he really didn't want anything other than a good instrumental guitar album.
