Vida Blue will mark the arrival of CROSSING LINES with a very special series of live performances. The first date at Washington, DC's 9:30 club happened already and two more are set to take place -- Philadelphia, PA tonight and Port Chester, NY tomorrow night.
Vida Blue got its name from the 1970's Major League Baseball pitcher Vida Blue. The band originated in 2001 when McConnell attended shows by both the Allmans and The Meters, ... The Illustrated Band, released a year after the first, is backed by the Spam Allstars, a Latin Grammy-nominated, Afro-Cuban sextet.
