Fender caught up with Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen for a Q&A covering gear, his inspirations and some of his early guitar memories … What inspired you to want to play the guitar as a teenager? TVL: I just didn’t know what else to do.
7 de oct. de 2022 · In the same interview, Avery said that there was some difference in styles between Van Leeuwen and Navarro, and that this might give some of the tracks a different feel. “The overall sound is very different,” Avery said. “Dave is an unusually smooth player, very, very, very smooth. Troy is much grittier in every way.
