LUSH waren shoegaze, ohne in der Schublade stecken zu bleiben. LUSH waren Indie, aber zugleich catchy und sexy, stets melodieverliebt im Gegnsatz zu anderen shoegazern, die oft nur Gitarrenschallwände auffuhren und dabei die Melodie vergessen haben. Und sehr britisch. Zudem hatten LUSH zwei großartige Songschreiberinnen und Sängerinnen.
